2026 Disneyland Trip FAQs
What About meals?
Students are personally responsible for their meals and incidentals Thursday night – Sunday afternoon (except hotel breakfast Friday, Saturday, Sunday). It is recommended that students bring around $100 - $150 for meals.
Absolutely NO room service and NO delivery service (i.e. Door Dash, Grubhub, etc.). Students CAN pack snacks in their luggage and bring sealed beverages. Unsealed beverages are prohibited and won’t be allowed on the bus.
The bus will stop in Kettleman City for dinner on Thursday night, and stop for lunch on the way home Sunday.

Pack uniform, socks and marching shoes in garment bag. Black socks must cover ankles. Mark garment bag, hat box and instrument with name. No liquids leaving PGHS.
How does luggage drop off work?
Students will drop off their luggage in the band room on Thursday morning before school starts. Do NOT lock luggage.
How are the students traveling?
Charter buses have been reserved for the entirety of the trip.
What time will students leave the school on Thursday?
Buses leave after lunch around 2pm.
What time will students arrive back at the school on Sunday?
Buses usually arrive at the school around 6pm.
How many students are in a room?
The rate is set for 6 students per room. Students will be given the opportunity to request roommates however, Mr. Souliere will make the final room assignments.
How will my student be supervised?
Students will be assigned a chaperone before they leave the school on Thursday.
Before the trip - Each student must exchange phone numbers with their assigned chaperone. The chaperone is the student's point of contact for the entirety of the trip and must be notified of any problems that may occur. Chaperones will also search all student’s luggage for prohibited items. Do NOT lock any luggage.
At the hotel - Chaperones do a room sweep at night, then place tape on the outside of the door. In the morning tape is removed and students can leave their rooms.
In the parks - Chaperones check in with students throughout the day.

Can parents come?
Yes, you can buy specially priced tickets from the Boosters using the order form sent home with your student. You will need to make your own transportation and hotel arrangements.
Where and when does the band/color guard perform?

FRIDAY - The band and color guard will march down Main Street starting at the Small World ride and end in the roundabout in front of the Train Station. Time is TBD.
SATURDAY – The band will have a soundtrack session with Disney musicians. Time TBD. Families cannot accompany their students to this performance. It is limited to the band, chaperones, and Mr. Souliere.

What MUST my student bring?
Complete Marching Band/Color Guard Uniform including black socks and marching shoes, their Red Band Shirt and their instruments. Chaperones will check for these items before the student boards the bus. If they do not have these items, they will not be permitted to board the bus.
What CAN’T my student bring?
Absolutely NO laptops/chrome books/electronics (such as PlayStations, rice cookers or other food prep, etc.) Cell phones are permitted and encouraged.
Chaperones will be inspecting all luggage. Unauthorized items will be left in the band room over the weekend.

Can PARENTS Take THEIR STUDENT HOME FROM DISNEYLAND?
Early dismissal from the trip needs to be pre-arranged with Mr. Souliere.
