EGUSD Jazz Festival on 2/6/2020 

The 5th Annual EGUSD Jazz Festival is at Pleasant Grove High School, 9531 Bond Rd. Elk Grove CA, 95624. We will have 15 groups performing on Thursday, February 6th  from 5:00pm-9:00pm in the Multi-purpose Room and Black Box Theater. A feedback clinic will be provided in a non-competitive low-key environment. A student chosen from each band will receive a $600 scholarship to the Cazadero Music Camp. As this is a night festival (dinner time), Drewski's Hot Rod Kitchen will be there to serve dinner.  Churro Kings is there to satisfy your sweet tooth!  *Admission is $5 at the door, and gets you into both venues.  Please encourage any and all parents/family/students to come and support all schools.

Special Guest

​New this year is the inaugural EGUSD Honor Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Max Kiesner (CRC). Please have your students stay and support their peers who represent their band.

Equipment

Equipment- The performance and clinic rooms will have a full drum-set, guitar amp, bass amp and piano provided. Drummers only need to bring a throne. Please use our cymbals, hi-hat, and bass drum pedal for logistics and time purposes. We have vibes if needed. ​
