We May Owe You Money!
If your student participated in Band Fundraisers in the past few years, chances are, they have money saved up in their Band Student Savings Account. Students may utilize funds from their account to cover expenses related to music education, equipment purchases and travel, as long as the student is continuously participating in the PGHS music or related programs (e.g., Winter Percussion, Color Guard). A transfer or check request form signed by the parent or legal guardian is required for disbursement of monies from student accounts. Checks will be made payable to students or their parent/guardian only in repayment of an already-incurred expense and a copy of the receipt will be required.
Upon leaving the music or related program or graduating from PGHS, student savings account funds may be transferred to a sibling, if the sibling is to continue participating in the music or related program. Otherwise, all unused money in the student’s individual account will be transferred to the Band Booster’s Student Assistance Fund at the beginning of the school year following the student’s departure.
Any money owed to the PGHS Music Program or fundraising event will be deducted first from the Student Account before requests for reimbursement of music-related expenses will be honored. Please contact us at PGHSBandBoosters@gmail.com to find out what the balance is. Then you can send in the following form to request a transfer or reimbursement. Please request reimbursement by May 20, 2021.

Help Our Music Program!
Help us build a great music program for your kids! Our School District provides the instructor, space, and basic equipment for a music program, but we have to raise the money for nearly everything else. Funds are needed for music purchase, instrument repairs and maintenance, uniform purchase and alterations, competition fees, clinicians, travel expenses, trailer expenses, etc. The Pleasant Grove High Band Boosters is a State of California 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and all donations to the band program are tax-deductible. Click on the above link to donate through PayPal and share the attached letter with your family and friends.
